The Board of County Printing
The Board of County Printing is required by state law to establish the maximum rates and printing standards for county legal advertising (section 7-5-2401 through 7-5-2405, MCA).
County Printing Rates
Effective July 1, 2008
The Board met on Friday, May 9, 2008 in Helena and held a public hearing regarding the request of the Montana Newspaper Association to raise the current maximum rates charged for county legal advertising.
After considering testimony from the Montana Association of Counties, the Board voted to raise the maximum allowable rates for county legal advertising to $11 per folio (100 words or fraction thereof) for the first insertion and $9 for subsequent insertions of the same advertisement.
